That being said; the US still has the best research institutions and every innovation in the tech field still has its origin here. With tech I means drug tech, space tech, bio mechanics, etc. Others mainly steal these technology or copy them or fabricate for the US.
There is a green revolution coming. It is like a new industrial revolution and we will be leading there. I bet you have not seen the new led tech that will proliferate the market cutting illuminating costs by 90%. China needs 10% growth for another 10 years for parity on quality of life. India, alas, seems in a social malaise. Technology and wealth never seem to reach the growing poor.
