Man get off this trip about black screwing themselves since that is just whitewash on a racist trope your are beginning to internalize.  Do you think Amerindians in Guyana are in the 70 percent poverty range because the did it to themselves? How about the 700 million Indians who survive on less than a dollar a day. Are they  slow in the hea and responsible for their condition

Do you realize they are our kin, our ancestors?   Everywhere there has been poverty and despair the culprit holding them back is a system that has them trapped. Indians in Guyana were for the large part untouchables in india for 6000 years. After one hundred years they emerged to be leaders in the society and now they include you who definitely had untouchable ancestors given most Indian Muslim sought the inclusiveness of Islam to avoid caste in India. Do you know that many Africans alive today had a grand parent born in slavery? Do you realize the civil rights laws were a mere 60 years or so ago?

I do not need to explain why Indians vote race and black vote race in Guyana so that is irrelevant to the racism here. Every one is accountable to themselves

Again, the dalit is a commonly accepted and respectable phrase...no a phrase with a preferred status in india since it gives certain advantages to the group. It was given to them by no one less than the father of modern India Ambedkar. He rejected the term ""harihjan" given to the group by Ghandi. I use the term to emphasize what is forgotten by those who claim bigger craniums and greater fortitude and smarts that only a mere 200 years ago they escaped a 6000 year trap and not by those claimed attributes but by chance.

The system that affects blacks also affect other non-whites. Other non-whites finding ways to break the shackles while blacks don't is mostly because of blacks actions. I mentioned last night that my cousin's niece did not become a PA at 23 by sleeping late and skipping school. Kids thrive when their parents are active in their school life. Like my cousin, whenever there is something going on at our kids school, either my wife or I or both of us will attend. That sends a good message to the child and they benefit from it. In many black households, the father is completely absent so he is not even around to participate. The mother having to carry the whole burden can only do so much which leads to her shortchanging the child also. In most cases, that child will repeat the same to their child. This woman at work said that her 9 years old son does not even know his father as he has been gone since he made her pregnant. System is one thing. Those habits that people can change on their own but don't is their fault, not any system. Blaming the system is helping them continue to remain in their current state.

Do you see the police shooting whites? Do you see the Realtors and banks red lining areas? Do black people get similar access development cash?

Your cousins and my cousins are the brown hordes who are looked on as benign threats and not as those blacks who will go to the law and complain in the face of disrespect. We make money and gain access because of our status as proxy or the good blacks

It is pure bull crap that people develop a habit for poverty and destitution.
