LET US REVISIT THE RESULTS In REGION 8 IN THE 2011 ELECTION

AFC---995 votes

PPP---741 votes

PNC---739 votes

OBSERVATION:

* The AFC won Region 8 in 2011 but that party no longer exists as a 3rd party. It has been swallowed up by the PNC.

* The PPP has registered hundreds of new voters in Region 8, and so it will be interesting to see if the PPP "vote engineering" will allow them to win region 8 in 2015.

* Of course, we all know that 50+1% of the Guyanese electorate will re-elect the PPP on May 11th, but I am just curious to know how well the PPP "mined" the votes in region 8.
