You manage to miss the point, while simultaneously oversimplifying matters. The British involve themselves in conflicts to which they are a third party, such as Gaddafi vs. the rebels, and they involve themselves on both sides. They are in fact intellectually empty, but they have a developed creed, sometimes called geopolitics, by which they mean to control and prolong other nations' disputes, to the effect of exhausting and dominating other nations.
