I believe East Indians are being pushed out of Guyana. This started in the 60's and continues.
After the 1968 rigged elections,most East Indians decides to migrate,the trend continued,although the PPP came to power in 1992,during the 23 yrs rule migration was the largest,East Indians was the majority.
