If it is administered properly Guyana National Service can be a good thing. Instead of having a camp in some far away place there could be week end camps for youth during the July August break to teach them a trade like carpentry, plumbing and welding.

Nothing wrong with interior camps. Just not based on creating toy soldiers or attempting to brainwash people.
