This is at a Community College in Oregon.
like Americans gone crazy.
Here we go again; the politicians will be screaming for gun control but NOTHING will get done. I am a big supporter of the 2nd amendment, but I do believe there should be severe restrictions on who can own and carry (conceal) a gun. I do believe owners should be held responsible if their guns get into irresponsible hands. I know some people with fully-loaded guns in each room of their house just waiting for the bad guy to show up. Many gun owners get too caught up in the NRA hype about the 2nd amendment whereas the NRA's main interest is the gun industry and NOT the shooters. I used to be a NRA member, but dropped their ass after about a year of their constant pestering for money.
It took me about 9 months to get my pistol permit and all my neighbors were interviewed before I got the permit. This is standard practice in some Towns in New York. This is the way it should be. Lunatics should NOT be allowed to own guns.

This is the same city where I live although I live out west in the better areas. The newscast stated that the victim has permits for all 96 guns. My question is what does he need with 96 guns and clearly he was not successful in safeguarding them.
96 guns, jewelry stolen from Pembroke Pines home
Jesus Regueiro, 19, faces one count of armed burglary
A 19-year-old man was arrested last week after he stole 96 guns from a home in Pembroke Pines, police said.
Jesus Regueiro faces one count of armed burglary. He appeared in court Tuesday, where a Broward County judge ordered that he be held in jail without bond.
According to an arrest report, Regueiro's grandmother called police on Sept. 17 after she saw a man handing Regueiro large plastic containers over her fence that contained numerous revolvers and automatic handguns.
Police said the woman heard Regueiro refer to the other man as "Tito."
Regueiro then fled the scene in his grandmother's car, which was pulled over on University Drive and Taft Street, police said. The woman told officers that she did not want to prosecute for the car theft.
According to the report, another stolen vehicle was found parked in front of Regueiro's home in Hollywood.
Police said officers noticed a window had been left ajar in Regueiro's efficiency and saw a Louis Vuitton shopping bag that contained five to six handguns.
A search warrant was obtained by police and 55 guns and 20 empty handgun boxes were found inside.
Police said that on Sept. 23 the victim provided a sworn statement to detectives and a list of the 96 handguns that were stolen from his residence along with the models and serial numbers.
Police said 55 of the victim's guns were recovered.
The victim told detectives that five large plastic containers containing the guns and jewelry were stolen from his home. He said his total loss was about $60,000.
Regueiro was then arrested and taken to the Broward County Jail. He did not provide a statement to detectives, the report said.
Regueiro was previously arrested on similar charges in Davie a few weeks ago.
Anyone with information about the identity of the accomplice involved in the burglary is asked to call Pembroke Pines police at 954-431-2200 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.

Earlier this year me visited a friend at Pembroke Pines.
This guys had so many licence guns under his bed, you could not put anything else there.
He also had a metal storage cabinet in his garage with enough bullets to fight WW11.
His kids attend the local school and have access to the guns.
