Two Guyanese men were on Saturday arraigned in a Brooklyn, New York Federal Court on suspicion of smuggling some 20 kilograms of cocaine that was stashed in frozen fish, which was shipped to Miami via Suriname and later transported to New York.

The men Triston Daniels, 32, and Troy Gonsalves, 33, have since been placed on US$150,000 bail each, the New York Daily News reported yesterday.

Here we go with the bullshit stories again. Simmels can make any charges he wants as he was a crook just like Khan and ended up in jail the same way. The judge made no ruling on whether there was an attempt to bring down the government and no US Intelligence reports confirmed it so stop with your nonsense. Khan was fighting a war to control the drug trade, nothing to do with any insurgency. Overwhelming evidence was presented in Khan's trial to show that the PPP government was facilitating Khan's drug operations. Ramsammy helped with the purchase of the spy equipment and Gajraj was working on directing the Phantom Hit Squad. If these two were involved, then the PPP leadership were also in the know as nothing goes as a secret at Freedumb House. Look at the way the PPP leadership were screaming after Khan was arrested and you'll know who he was working with. Gail Teixiera flailed Felix for going after Khan and the entire PPP was claiming that the US illegally seized Khan in their bid to protect him and their close connections. 

What does the killing of Bhemchand Barran, his son, Mervin Barran, and another adult has to do with Roger's drug dealing?  What does the killing of Berbicians at Buxton who were returning the USA have to do with Roger's Drug operations?  What does the death of Haroon Rasheed who was burnt to death at his Wife's wake has to do with it and dozens of other senseless killings.?? Even Kwayana had to flee Buxton.  I can go on and on to expose your shamless cover up of the real facts.

Of course there was a lot of crime during that time. The PPP facilitated drug barons like Khan and turned a blind eye to the drug trade. It provided earnings to the country's economy so they did nothing to stop it. Guns and serious crime became a staple of Guyanese society with the promotion of the drug trade. The country is still feeling the ill effects of crime today, brought on by the drug trade which bloomed during the PPP years.
