This European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) says that the oversight broadcasting authority did not conduct thorough monitoring during the campaign trail. The EU EOM noted that the media environment is highly politicised, with very few independent media and most media outlets being either directly affiliated or leaning to one of the two main political camps.

The European Union Elections Observers Mission (EU EOM) noted the misuse of State resources by the ruling coalition. In the missionâs preliminary report issued, earlier today, it was noted that the A Partnership for National Unity + Alliance of Change (APNU+AFC) âused the advantages of incumbency to appeal to voters through development programmesâ. The Opposition, the Peopleâs Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) was also flagged for using State resources at regional level, though to a âlesser extentâ, the EU EOM noted.

Verification of the votes are a requirement in process.
Question now relates to what legislative/legal authority Keith Lowenfield has to suspend/terminate the verification of votes; if indeed this is now happening for the declaration of the election results for this region.

Big uproar at Region 4 office. There is a very serious development.
At the region 4 office there is a total breakdown of the tabulation system right now. The gecom clerk is not using the SOP to tabulate the regional result. They went into a back room and fill out a spread sheet without party officials.
They are now using that spread sheet and all out totally fabricated numbers. When the party agents object, because the announced number does not match the SOPs.
They are not stopping, they are racing ahead with the use of the using false and fabricated numbers.
This is grave, If the PPP wins the first t hing they should do is arrest these fellows and charge them with neglect of office and treason if possible.
Where is GECOM Chairman/woman??? Claudette Singh, you are still being paid, do your job.
