According to the law governing the Election Commision, The Chairman has 15 Days to submit the Election Result.

So you guys take a breather, in as much as we all wants the results ASAP, Surujbally did not make the law.

He is just making sure that he sticks within the law.

I think that by tomorrow morning we shall have the complete results.

Are you a dunce?? Didn't you know that Jamaica has electronic voting with fingerprint voter verification? hhahhahhahahahaha

JAMAICA NOW has the distinction of being the first country in the world to implement an electronic system of voter identification using fingerprints to safeguard against fraud. But having the dubious distinction of leading the world in this direction speaks volumes about the fraudulence which has over the years infiltrated and corrupted our electoral system. The hijacking of the electoral system in pockets of the country and the stuffing of ballot boxes with multiple votes by individuals in the service of their political party have become ugly features of the electoral process.

No one pushed harder for electronic voting than Edward Seaga while Leader of the Opposition and of the JLP and Member of Parliament for Western Kingston. It is therefore fitting that elements of a system of electronic voting are to be used in the West Kingston by-election to replace him as Member of Parliament for that constituency.

So you decide to show how backward Guyana is. Is that the plan?

Now go and prove further by telling us why Trinidad has election results ready by next morning. They have almost twice as many ballots to count.

Ah told you all already.Burnham had the right idea. Forget all this count and recount. You vote today and tomorrow he declare that he win by a landmine. Two thirds majority. And no man dare question him. Where were all these lovers of democracy during Burnham and Hoytee time?

Giving Burnham critical support. Wink

Rodney, Roopnarine, David Hinds, Clive Thomas...are those names ringing a bell now.

Pity that most of them faced violence by people like Joe Hamilton who is now wrapped up with the PPP.

Note, unlike Cheddi, these guys were NOT giving critical support to Burnham. Nor did they seekto join him in any shared governance.

Isn't that ironic? The WPA is aligned with the PNC. Why didn't they align themselves with AFC?
