Ansell was shot in the right arm after being caught in the mass shooting. Her friend, Jan Lambourne, was more seriously injured.

In an interview with Global News, Ansell recounted the experience.

β€œThere was just more and more shots fired and people were running. It was just crazy,” she said.

Ansell has now been discharged from hospital.

Lambourne was shot in the abdomen and shrapnel fractured her pelvis after she was caught in the Las Vegas mass shooting.

Ansell told Global News that her friend has had surgery and is currently recovering.

The referee with an adult hockey organization called Hockey North America underwent surgery and was in intensive care in a Las Vegas hospital. He helped his wife to safety, told her run, then stayed to help others get to safety.

A colleague of Steve Arruda said the hockey referee was hit with a bullet in his upper leg.

Denis grew up on a local farm and is a community volunteer. She was shot in the foot during the attack.

Kim Ackerson, the regional manager for Innovation Credit Union, said Denis was OK but didn’t have more information.

Sarrazin was shot and seriously injured during the attack.

A GoFundMe page was set up for Sarrazin, who now lives in Alberta but was originally from Spiritwood, Sask.

Over $56,000 had been raised as of Tuesday afternoon, which will be used to assist with Sarrazin’s medical and travel expenses.

β€œThe Sarrazin and Moore families would like to extend our sincere gratitude and deep appreciation for all the contributions to the GoFundMe page, as well as all the prayers and well-wishes we have received,” family said in a statement provided to Global News.

Sheldon Mack, Victoria

Please say a prayer for the victims of shooting. Our son Sheldon was wounded.

Mack was shot twice and suffered a ruptured colon and a broken forearm. He tweeted Tuesday, offering some updates on his condition.

So much evil in this world, thanking god for watching over me. Sustained 2 gunshot wounds, a ruptured colon, and a broken forearm.

He is the son of Hudson Mack, who used to anchor for CHEK news in Victoria.

According to his father, Sheldon was celebrating his birthday at the festival.

This guy equipped himself to kill as many people and go with bang of which he hoped America will remember him for shooting innocent victims. This is a the similar pattern of psycho domestic terrorism.

Unfortunately, very little can be done to avoid these people from killing again. Look out for copycats. 

I hope this devastated experience can give hotels, casinos, and entertainment businesses to take stronger steps to screen guests when checking in.
