You are judging Granger from a perspective of the past. We can do the same with the PPP and project their behavior into the present. The PPP were communists and their idea of democracy was the fabricating of a vanguard party whose sole role was to re engineer society per Marxist ideology. Their present incarnation as supposed democrats is as crony capitalists who exist as a criminal cartel solely for the benefits of their friends, family and familiars.

Granger as a soldier was obliged to follow his commander in chief. One sees that is duh duh  Donald scolding his commanders and reminding them of their obligation to follow the chain of command of which he is the highest. Granger can speak of democracy since he is no longer a soldier and as an independent citizen representing his country. Democracy is not some historical artifact. It is an active expression of the individual's commitment to certain precepts. I am sure Granger spoke to those so I do not have to reiterate them here for your benefit. Actually, I am not even responding for your benefit. I am doing so as a strategy to illustrate how perverse is the reasoning of you PPP sycophants.

Let's not forget what David Granger is made of.

He is a PNC through and through.

He was the hunch man for Burnham to rig elections.

He insulted Indians as rapists and murderers.

He Insulted Cheddi Jagan and praise Burnham.

His party said cane cutters are coolie problem.

He stated that his party will deny the killing of Walter Rodney because the inquiry took one year and millions of dollars of taxpayers money wasted.

But he agreed to the Linden COI where many millions spent, lives taken, private and public property destruction, treats to innocent lives, and encourage hooligans to take control of the streets.

He will sweet talk you about unity until he gets your vote and then he will shove a long bamboo up you kaka-hole.

The truth must be told.

He never said cane cutters were a coolie problem He said they were the PPP's problem since the PPP ruined the sugar industry.

He never denied the PNC were involved in the killing of Rodney. He said the current need to have a year long investigation 23 years latter is simply to play the blame game in an election year.

I believe t he Guyanese people are tired of the PPP and hopefully they will lure away enough of the PPP sheep to better pastures.
