I listened to her on CNN last night, Senator Kamala Devi Harris, she educated, very fluent in her speech and not to forget beautiful.
She is a no nonsense person, brought up by single parent, her mother who is from India. They lived in Montreal then moved to California.
I suggest to keep an eye on her career, she is on her way up.

I like Kamala Harris also. She is a bright lawyer. I think the Dems need young contestants. Too many old folks the last time around. But I still think Trump isn't going to last much longer although I prefer for everything to come to a finality after the 2018 Mid Terms as I believe the Dems will regain the House majority and send Ryan packing along with Trump and Pence.

I still donât understand why Obama did not take more of a lead on DACA. That had bipartisan support!

There was more support than you think. Newt Gingrich had offered an olive branch on that and prison reform to get prisoners skills training. Obama never responded. I remembered even Anderson Cooper thought the ideas were good and should be taken up.
Obama was just too arrogant and screwed himself over. He spent all his energy on Obamacare. Now look, trump shredding it! If I am to rate Obama, he gets a B. Primary issue is building bridges with the other side. He harmed himself a lot by railroading ACA without involving the Reps.
With all you say of Trump, he will seek accommodation with Schumer and Pelosi. Trump talks tough but wants resolution. He operates like a business man vs a politician.
We will see. He has 3 more years then even Melania will kick his ass to the Curb!!!
Just to clear up a few misconceptions. The energy that Obama expended on the ACA was well spent as universal healthcare was something that US presidents have been hoping to do for a hundred years. If anything, Obama is not an ******* so he wouldnât behave like Trump. By the time the ACA was passed, the Republicans took over the House and vowed to oppose any further proposals from Obama so he had no chance of getting the Republicans to support DACA. Righwingers has been seeking to rewrite history but that can only be done in their minds. The Republicans even forced the SC to go more than a year with a vacancy because they could have. The current Republican tent is not a place to proudly belong to because that tent is infested with the nastiest of creatures.
