Mornin Yuji,
Question: Are you anti-Granger or anti PNC personally or both? And why? I don't wanna know the usual PPP lines. Tell me Yugi's own opinions. They do not have to be academic or even "rational"
I'm curious as to how you think. Educate me lil.

Morning Shaitaan Bhai.
I am anti PNC.
My experiences under the PNC rule and their systemic acts of racism that I suffered under the PNC must never happen again.
What scares me is that the PNC never cleaned up their closet and as Kari Bhai pointed out, they never attempted to offer an apology for their sins committed.
One had to live firsthand under a brutal PNC administration to comprehend the resentment for the PNC. I was willing to forgive the PNC but they remain the same old PNC.
The PPP will win the election and I am hopeful that I will see a cabinet consisting of a true representation of the makeup of Guyana. I want to see 40 Percent Indos, 30 Percent Afros and 30 Percent Mixed and Amerindians.
I also want to see transparency and accountability.
Does the PPP have faults ? Yes many but politicians across the world swim in milk and honey.
To date, the AFC has proven ZERO of their corruption claims in a court of law. In fact, they are the most corrupt. Look at how then handle their own party funds with no accountability and no audited financial statements. That is criminal in nature.
I prefer to deal with the devil that I know rather than the devil that I don't know.
Have a good day Bhai. You are doing a great job exposing all politicians across all parties in Guyana.

Thank you very much man. It is appreciated. And I understand your points. They are not without merit. It is indeed a hard sell to convince Indians to vote for the party that gave them a racist anti-Indian dictatorship for 28 years. And then did nothing to demonstrate a change of behavior thereafter.
Also, the additional problem is that the other locii of state power are Black dominated...army, police, professional civil service, and the judiciary. The loss of Government in Guyana essentially means the end of all Indian influence/power within the State.

when i pointed out essentially this same provocative, racist shit you posted a couple weeks age, u bleated that i was engaging in unfair "quote mining"
u are who you are bai . . . amazing that supposedly intelligent people fall for the 'i'm a "persuadable" work in progress' shyte you throw out when your mendacity and double talk trip over themselves and let 'things' slip

It is not racist to want to see some semblance of ethnic balance (not domination) in the power centers of a multiethnic state.
I can only conclude that any expression of fairness to Indians is somehow "racist" to you.
For the same reasons that the NYPD and other police departments find that having an ethnically diverse force inclusive of Blacks and other minorities is a social good, so too obtains in Guyana vis a vis everyone including Indians.
We are a multiethnic State. The institutions need to reflect this reality.
Ironically, it is the fact that people share your opinion in opposing the representation of Indians in the various power centers of the State that the PPP has such a stranglehold on the Indian voter. The Indian voter sees a 100% Black dominated State without the PPP in Government. Remove that fact and you go a long way towards removing the reason for Indians to vote PPP.
There is no opinion shared here that is at odds with anything I have ever written or believed. That you can turn this into the charge of racism is good reason why the Coalition will fail.
I see Yuji's point,After 2011 election AFC only agenda was to remove the PPP from government, never tried to cooperate in any way. They did not have a plan as to what they will do if elected, nothing to prove to the people. Well ,if you don't like the PPP, show us what you got???Remember most of the AFC supporters came from the PPP, to tell X-PPP supporters to vote APNU/PNC is TUFF LUCK.

That is a cold hard fact!
I stand behind it. You can now refute my arguments provided to buttress that assertion.

and, remind me again why i would spend time/effort to "refute" [dignify] such 'things' with argument
my limited purpose here is to illuminate, underline and expose
hmmmmm?

My Dear Parosin,
I doan think one ever has need to "dignify" facts. They exist whether or not one so high and mighty as yourself condescends to acknowledge their place in reality.
The really funny part about all of this is that the Indian electorate (from canecutters to lettered bright bais) seems to grasp this very elemental fact and act accordingly.
Indians perceive the reality that the Guyanese State is Black dominated and the only Indian-controlled constituent parts of this State is the Presidency and the Cabinet. This election is basically asking the Indians to voluntarily strip themselves of the two places they have institutional influence/power. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the response on May 11th is gonna be NO.
Precisely why ROAR went to pains to communicate to its Indian supporters in Berbice and Demerara that a vote for ROAR is to not remove the PPP from power but to add ROAR.
Asking the Indians to vote to remove the PPP totally from office and replace it with the PNC is just not gonna fly.

nice try with the red herrings and all . . . but the [your] "thing" i decline to dignify with argument is specifically this:
"The [PPP] loss of Government in Guyana [to the Coalition] essentially means the end of all Indian influence/power within the State."
nothing to do with "facts" arite?
that's all . . . we can move on now
The above quote is a fact. End of story chap.
