I have been reading the Constitution, and so far I have come across a few things that don't tally with what the PPP is saying and doing.

One of them is about the Clark, who has to be appointed by the Speaker. Who appointed Sooba exactly? If it was not the Speaker then Sooba is illegally employed. Even more damming is that the Clark is there to execute the wishes of the assembly. Sooba has appointed herself head of the local government so to speak. That's not one of the job description that the Clark is authorized to do. Only an elected member can run either government, national or local.

More reading to do.

That's correct. However her appointment and working conditions as Clark still falls under the rules governing appointments made for local and national government. There is no made in the Constitution that a clark appointed by other means can become clark for local government. So the appointment as it stands appears to be illegal.

The town clerk was supposed to be appointed by a parliamentary commission but that has never been formalized and is the reason the appointment of Sooba by the minister of local government was deemed by the courts to be illegal. The courts confusingly let her remain in office even though it said her appointment was illegal.
