Manipulating these people for personal gain has to be one of life's greatest sins.

19 years gone and the house looks like it is done for and obviously the fireside is there because there is no roof and it stays dry because of the rickety floor boards. They cant wait much longer for the gravy train. It does not travel that far down on the poverty line.quote:Originally posted by Alexander:

these people have all the fight beaten out of them. They just go along to get along. This is not about Poor Indians but poor blacks and Amerinds as well It is not matter of fighting either. It is social and institutional oppression that conditions the fight out of the poor. Note, dalits out numbered the parasitic caste at all times in their 6000 years of oppression and counting!quote:Originally posted by BOURDABOY:quote:Originally posted by Rahmah bin Jabr:

The imperial presidency and constancy of the coercive powers of leaders telling these poor people that identity is with party and not with nation is mind sabotage. These people are in the state of despair and in ignorance of the causes of their condition because politics in Guyana is not about people but about elections to capture the power of the state for a political party based on conditioning ethnic allegiance.
We let a few hundred Englishmen rule over us in indenturesip and in slavery for two centuries while at all times we outnumber them tens of times for reasons no less than this. Conditioning to accept what we believe we cannot change is what we see here. Rational response is long lost to these folks.
