The no-confidence vote is the A.F.C/A.P.N.U last straw to remain relevant.

Dude, shut your mindless yapping. The PPP is the one on life support. They are scared out of their wits the PNC might get an edge and then their collective goose would be cooked on account of their habit of thieving.

They were prepared the last time; painted the nation red, had Jabba the Hutt Ramorat and his sidekick the girly man on every lamp post, forced every civil servant to wear their monkey suit, had parties hosted by popular DJs and dancehall queens yet...what was your excuse..."incumbency fatigue"? This time cannot be different. They are still the same crooks and mainly the same people voting.

The opposition, especially the AFC is acting so high and mighty as if they going to win the next election. These people are living in a fool's paradise if they truly believe themselves. There is no way that the Guyanese people are going allow a third force to help the PNC win the presidency and throw that country back into the pits again. People are smart and they will use their smart when voting. The Berbicians have always been progressive people and they will not allow this country to become a PNC-dominated state.

AFC supporters on this BB are desperately trying to raise the morale of their dues-paying members who are abandoning the party in record numbers. The AFC has already lost over 50% of its members and that is a conservative estimate. Many in the ranks of the party saw the carnage and decide to flee elsewhere.  TK, the economist, predicted doomsday for the AFC. For now he is sheltering under the Palm Tree from the heavy rains.  It would be interesting to see where he will go next.

Because of the proportional representation electoral system, the AFC may possibly win one or two seats, but definitely not the elections.

If it were the first-past-the-post system, perhaps the AFC would end up with zero seat.
