At Best Village tonight, the indorsement of a full yard for AFC's alliance policy and initiative to have talks with APNU with a view to contesting the May 11 elections on a joint slate, is an historic turning point.
The Gathering by show of hand voted in favor of an AFC-APNU alliance but also pledge support for AFC in a three-way contest. There was zero support for PPP.
AFC has been holding countrywide consultation on its alliance policy, and while the reaction has been mixed, most AFC fighters support a joint opposition slate. The simple answer is: Coalition Yes, PPP no.
Tonight's meeting was addressed by vice-Chairman Moses Nagamootoo and General Secretary David Patterson.

kp, when the PPP was in the opposition, I attended bottom-house meetings that had 12 to 20 persons.

Those persons who were in that Best Village yard last night might have voted PPP in 2011. They won't do so on May 11.

As the saying goes, one-one dutty build dam.
