I just spoke to a friend from Corriverton, he said the AFC made a marvelous move, they kept their meeting in front of the new NIS building which the PPP constructed at the cost of some $59 million.

My friend said he estimated the crowd to be anywhere close to 300 persons however the speakers were dynamic. My friend said not since the days of Walter Rodney, had he heard such good old political thrashing(all facts) on the Gov't.

He said someone, an economist, by the name of Ramjatan( not Khemraj) or such similar name,(phone connection was a bit bad for Iwas driving) was very effective in his presentation on making a case of corruption against the PPP.

All in all the AFC was well received in my home town.

KeEp going AFC, KEEP THE PRESSURE ON, THE PEOPLE OF GUYANA WILL HEAR YOUR MESSAGE.

Me can see dat Chief.
Many people are quiet about this election thing, but deep down they want change to improve their life, especially from crime and they want to take home a decent paycheque, with other things just as important.
The PPP could not provide a better backdrop for the AFC meeting...the NIS building.
Your hometown is an important place for change, because of the factory that is not fully operational, causing a lot of employment distress for the people.

I am not surprised by the turn out. I spoke at two in Berbice last week. Both had over 300. We now need to bring on some big rallies. CHANGE IS COMING!

Na tek worries Rama_cant. We did not do rallies yet. That is coming.

Three hundred people is equal to big rally.
Not everybody who attended your meeting will vote for you.

Your rallies will be coming after the election?

You have been keeping meetings since january with about 100 people attending who since then have left the country. What you actually doing sneding them abroad to seek greener pastures.

Absolutely Warrior this is what I am telling you the AFC is knocking down votes in small chunks so judging by the size of meetings as a measuring stick is a waste of time.

The AFC is beating the PPP at their own game, they have become the masters of the street corner and bottom house meetings which is completely grassroots and organic.

This movement will beat the PPP and PNC hands down.

TK you get 300 in small villages. Adjusted for population you ought to get at least 3,000 in Georgetown [the population difference suggests even more should show up but I adjust downward to allow for the fact that Gtwn people have more distractions to keep them away]

You dont. Why is that?

tell you what rama I dont know how well teh AFC will do in regions 3,4 and 10. But it seems obvious that the PPP has a big problem in region 6.

Here are the results.

PPP 45%

APNU 25%

AFC 25%
small parties 5%.

Sorry Ramotar, but your days will be numbered even if you win the election as I suspect.

It will shock you Rama how fast all the soup lickers and milk drinkers flee the PPP.

Region 6 alone cannot maKE THE ppp lose the election. It's a small region.

There is no proof that the voting pattern has changed. The polls were wrong in 2001 and 2006. It is wrong again in 2011.
