The low level robbery of private citizens yields minimal gains so the afc/pnc change their strategy for quicker larger yields. Its back to the tried and true drug trade, however they are off to a rough start as incompetence throughout their ranks continue to mar this debut.

10 kilos cocaine intercepted at CJIA

JULY 28, 2013 | BY  | FILED UNDER NEWS

Agents of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) yesterday intercepted over 10 kilograms of cocaine at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA). The drug was destined for JFK international.
The substance was found in a bag that had already been placed on the trolley. It was found at the back of the terminal building in the baggage area.
Kaieteur News understands that the substance was to be loaded on Caribbean Airlines flight BW 526 destined to the John F Kennedy (JFK) airport.  The flight was scheduled to depart at 15:50hrs, some two hours after the find.
This publication understands that Caribbean Airlines (CAL) security first spotted the bag. Agents of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit were informed and they, in turn, requested the involvement of anti narcotics police agents also attached to the airport.
Investigators believe that the bag, which carried a false tag, might have been there since Friday night.
No arrest has been made.

Scared to death of being arrested.  Recently at JFK after returning from Guyana, huge bags from Guyana were lying around and no one was claiming them.  So I asked a flight attendant what's the scoop.  She said it was drugs, and the people involved were biding their time and going through stealthy procedures to finally have their hands on the bags.
