Yuji, if Granger remarks about the PPP is misrepresented, they still wouldn't find the PPP guilty on anything down the road. When all is said and done, it would be the PPP turn to take appropriate legal action for damages and to clear their names on all alleged corruption charges against them.

As Mitwah stated that the PPP lost, I too want to believe they have lost in a free and fair election. However, when there is a closely contested election like May 11, in Guyana, a recount must be granted when requested by losing party. Because of Gecom's refusals to comply and took one week before announcing the winning party, that opens the door for suspection that they were irregularities and ballot tampering. So Miths, it not wrong for us to feel robbed and to support the PPP petition in court for a recount. A recount in one's country takes presedent over international odservers to satisfy the constituents that were disenfranchised.

Regardless of al, the posturing, ranting and raving, granger said that  when evidence exists, it will be laid before the courts. No one has been charged as yet even though they did so many forensic audits so it leaves one to conclude that either

1. Those given the job to do the forensic audits were not competent enough to do a good forensic audit, if so it was a payoff to friends and allies for past services

2. that there was no evidence of corruption in the entities already examined so no corruption in those entities, if so the pnc-AFC-APNU and their supporters lied to the people. 

No. 2 seems more plausible because the coalition has lied when in government. They lied about not considering massive pay hike for ministers, about large increases in pension for pensioners, large cuts in the tolls of the Berbice bridge tolls, etc. Now, it's claims to doing things different from the previous administration has been eroded with the granting if the contract for the speciality hospital to Ramjattan's client without following the procurement procedures laid down in law, arguing that the contract supersedes the lows of the country.
