The AFC panicked and joined the PNC out of fear of losing the election.
Based on comments by political observers, the AFC should have named Nigel as their Presidential candidate and run solo. Nigel is the only hardworking member of the AFC and could have appealed to the young voters.
Moses has no appeal since he is old and badly out of shape. He appears pregnant. He can talk but talk is cheap.
Moses has so far proved to be ineffective as the leader of the AFC/PNC wing of the party.
It begs the question, was Nigel shoved aside by Moses and Ramjattan because he is of Afro descent ?

The problem is that the only real alternative at the moment is the PNC and the PNC is a party that has a history that is unparalleled in the Anglo Caribbean.
The PPP wins by default. I don't know any PPPite that likes the PPP.

Still waiting for you to admit that you would have fled the PPP if "one black man" became President.
You don't mind them as PM because no one in Guyana knows what the PM does, useless like when Arthur Chung was Governor General.
The PPP/C has always put up a winning candidate. The PNC has always put up a losing one. Why should the PPP/C change that.
Hinds had an agreement with the PPP that the president will be from the PPP and that was honored at the passing of Cheddi. That was why the loser/ PNC kept their mouth closed.
