In an exclusive interview with Editor- in- Chef Dr. Zuhair Al- Abbad, His Excellency Professor Dr. Shamir Ally, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of The Cooperative Republic of Guyana in Kuwait, said that Guyana; government and people  respect and appreciate His Excellency Sheikh Subah Al- Ahmad; Amir of Kuwait for His good International actions and appreciated the successful diplomatic relations and so proud for choosing Him as an International Human Leader for the essential humane role He plays for people around the World confirming that he is an International leader and a role example. He added that Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs is very active and successful in their Diplomatic role with the World. He said that He was introduced to a group of International Ambassadors in Kuwait, adding that He goes for bonding orientations with top ranking diwanian and people. He also clarified that he wears Kuwait flag with his formal clothes as he appreciates Kuwait and its people. Dr. Shamir clarified that His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Nasser Al- Muhammad is a person who has an improved vision in diplomatic relations as he was the starting point for the relations between Republic of Guyana and State of Kuwait with his visit to Guyana on 2010. He added that in 2011, President of The Cooperative Republic of Guyana accepted a formal invitation to visit Kuwait and was honored to meet His Excellency Sheikh Subah Al- Ahmad; Amir of Kuwait as cooperation and bonding discussions in different fields of relations between the two countries were held.   Dr. Ally also referred that He has a good bonding with Sheikh Salman Al- Hammoud, Head of Civil Aviation, as He has visited the airport and was introduced to activities and they discussed cooperation in the field of civil aviation. He said, :I admired the new developing projects in civil aviation and airport."

  Supporting Kuwait Dr. Shamir clarified that State of Kuwait has supported some humane projects in Guyana through The House of Zakat. He added that State of Kuwait established a huge mosque as 12% of Guyana people are Muslims and that Guyana has 145 mosques which means that Guyana is a peaceful country that respects religions and cares for establishing good relations with countries of the entire world especially Arabic countries.

  Road Network Dr. Shamir valued the role played by Kuwait in supporting developing the road network in Guyana, especially that Guyana is in the heart of the GRULAC and it is connected to all Latin America's countries, including Brazil, through a highway.

  Educational Cooperation The Ambassador clarified that concerning the cooperation between Guyana and Kuwait in the field of Education, Guyana has more than 7 Private universities having different fields in addition to a public university that provides free education confirming that these universities are welcoming the Kuwaiti students and He is looking forward to meeting the Minister of Higher Education and Minister of Education, Dr. Muhammad Al- Fares, to discuss this issue, especially that Guyana is the only country in Latin America that uses English as an official language.  

Investments in Guyana As a reply for the question of the possibility of opening investment for Kuwaiti commerce, Dr. Ally said that fields of investment are open and various; in agriculture, mining, gold, jewelry and tourism. He clarified that anyone, who is interested in the field of commerce in Guyana, can open a company in cooperation with a Guyanese, even with 2% of the partnership percent for the sake of Protection Law for Investors. He also added that Guyana is rich in the field of exporting woods, halal meat, rice and grains that has a superior quality.

Agreements His Excellency Professor Dr. Shamir Ally, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of The Cooperative Republic of Guyana referred that Cooperative Republic of Guyana and State of Kuwait have signed 8 different agreements; commercial, economic and cultural. He said that we are ready to participate in the official occasions, in addition to other occasions, with Guyanese artistic and cultural groups to introduce the artistic and cultural heritage through cooperating with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters.

Dr. Shamir also clarified that Guyana has a charming nature; mountains, rivers, waterfalls, safari and many restaurants with different cuisines beside the modern and heritage markets. Moreover, Guyana has one of a kind and a unique fish and animal resources. Republic of Guyana known in English as Guyana or officially as The Cooperative Republic of Guyana was previously known as British Guyana. It is a sovereign state on the North Coast of Latin America yet; it is one of the English speaking countries of the Caribbean.   Guyana was Dutch and British colony for more than 200 years. It is the only Commonwealth country on the main shore of Latin America in addition to being a member of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM); headquarters is in Georgetown, Guyana. Guyana is one of the few countries in Caribbean region that is not an island. Guyana received independence from The United Kingdom on 26th May 1966 and was announced as a Republic on 23th February 1970.

  Country of Water Based on historical basis, Guyana Zone consists of specious lands starting from the Amazon River in the North and Oronoque River in the East and it is known as Land of Many Waters. Historic Guyana consists of three Dutch colonies: Demerara, Berbice, and Essequibo. Modern Guyana has Suriname in the East, Brazil in South and Southwest, Venezuela in the West and Atlantic Ocean in the North. Guyana is 215.000 square kilometers; accordingly, it is the third smallest independent country in the main shore of Latin America (after Uruguay and Suriname). Guyana population are 770.000 (in 2002) with (43.5%) of East Indians and (30.2%) from African Origins.

Tropical Range Guyana is located on the Eastern North Coast of Latin America on The Atlantic Ocean; Republic of Venezuela to the west, Suriname to the east and  Brazil to the south and it is located also in the Tropical Range. Guyana is divided into 3 areas; first, oversees the low coastline that is below sea level in some areas. Then, the land starts with a gradual rise in the south west. This section is covered by Tropical Rainforests. Guyana's land reaches its highest point in the south west, that is transferring from plant range to grass. Guyana's weather is tropical; elevated temperature most of the year however, water moderate coasts elevated temperature. Heavy rain falls in two seasons; fist one is from April to August and second one is from November to January.
