There are some people on this board who engage in rational discussions on the current political forum but many who indulge in, or try to drag every discussion into, a mud pit. Can you not make another political forum and call it the Rumshop or Fishmarket or something like that for the latter group?

I know Caribbeancricket.com has such a forum where people can cuss and swear as much as they want, however, people do get banned for using the word coll*e  and N word or any semblance of them, maybe it is time you ban the use of those words on here also as well as the disrespectful word b**k used to refer to Guyana’s first peoples.

You have done a great job in bringing order back to the political forum but taking it even further is also an option so as to preserve a platform for both groups of people .

Thx

This is a wasted idea. No tolerance for derailing threads with personal cuss downs should not be  the norm everywhere. Most of the people here are professionals with advance degrees acting  their worse because they can. One cannot get rid of their darker parts by giving them more latitude to be nasty. What would incline them to be civil here an to be uncivil on another forum?

What expect the nine out of ten Guyanese here come from a mud pit, and their favorite pass time activity is rum shop politics. Mud pit is the most fitting description for the Guyana parliament where the Jagabaat is being known for his fishmarket style cussdown. How can you attend a crabdance without mud...ain't gona happen....
