I am petitioning for a new moderator to take RiffRaff place. He personally urged me to make this petition, and I have agreed to do it. As a member of this forum, along with some other members, we believe a change of moderator would be good for GNI. I know you have confidence in your current moderator, but unfortunately, not all of us have the same confidence. If it's agreed upon, we will make a nomination list and vote accordingly.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Cobra

I think Ray is doing a pretty decent job.

Asj and DG are two of the top posters. Asj focus on Guyana daily happening. DG change the athmosphere with a mixture of international and local news. Riffraff is only picking on DG. Riffraff himself don't understand the extent of GNI to tell members what is suitable or not. Today he said my thread was useless because it was against Granger by Maduro. We don't need another dictator on GNI.

I am not sure that I can agree with you Cobra although I noticed that he closed my thread that Shaitaan was throwing a tantrum on.  I did not oppose the closing because I thought the thread had "run its life."  However, by closing the thread I cannot bring it back to the top.  The thread was not meant to be racial or divisive; it was merely a  historical discussion where some people got carried away.

Overall, I think RR is doing a good job and I support him as moderator once he wants to continue.

Thank you Amral for taking the time to respond to our grievance. GNI have been our home forum for 20 years to the registered members and guest who love this site very much. But if a section of your members are not happy, I Cobra, taking the lead role of campaigning for a chance. Forum participation always know best to keep GNI alive. We have many veteran members here that should be given s chance. Let democracy live on GNI, sir.

When Sunil was moderator, everyone respect him. Even today, he is the best after Amral. This is not a personal rift with riffraff. If there wasn't a concern, why a long term member of GNI is calling for a change? In every organization, someone will always take the lead to make a difference. In this case, we're asking for a change of moderator. The last buck doesn't stop with riffraff. The members of GNI have the power to replace him.

I may have called for justice on a different setting, but that doesn't disqualify me from making a judgement on GNI. I am a concerned member unlike you. I believe in democracy, not dictatorship. If the Admin yield to my call, then we can rest assure that this forum serve a better purpose for all without
prejudice.

No sir, every action, great and dastardly was instructed in words.  Listen to the words of Hitler and see the aftermath, listen to the instructions of the Hutu extremist and see the aftermath, listed to slo-fyah mo-fyah and see its aftermath.

Words are that powerful bridge between thoughts/ideas and action/implementation.

baseman, perhaps u should have taken your own advice before pooh poohing the charges brought against Bharrat Jagdeo for his irresponsible, racist battam house mouthings pre-election

btw, Hitler's racist, incendiary speeches prepared the ground for the organized genocide of Europe's Jews mid-20th Century . . . the Hutu incentiary, racist broadcasts transmitted the template for late 20th century genocide of Tutsis in Rwanda

to juxtapose Desmond Hoyte's unfortunate, irresponsible use of "slo fyah, mo fiyah" with the immediate above is a true manifestation of pure evil that lies at your core

i bet u think u are somehow being clever

Let the evidence and judiciary decide on the merits of the charges.  From what I know, there were not "race war" which questions if he said it.  But let the judiciary decide.

Regarding slo-fyah mo fyah, am I incorrect in stating it was the chant of the PNC leadership back then, which then resulted in arson and looting?
