A wealthy Egyptian offered to purchased an island in Italy or Greece to home the fleeing refugees from war torn countries from the Middle East and Africa.

No one from either country responded to his proposals. He stated on his interview on CNN that all he wanted to purchase the island and nothing else. The island can accommodate 100,000 to 200,000 people, and he has all the logistics to build homes, hospitals, schools, Churches and shipping docks, etc., and named it (Hope). I tip my hat to billionaire, Naguib Sawiris.

Why in Italy or Greece which has no such large unpopulated space and not Indonesia which has thousands of such islands? And Indonesia is Muslim.
