Remember David Ramnarine who claimed that he did not get money for the 2011 elections and then it was found that he did cash a check. Well he is being accused of shaking down miners.

POLICE Superintendent David Ramnarine may find himself between a rock and a hard place after two miners on Monday alleged that he was involved in corrupt practices and bribery. The miners gave their names as businessmen Partebo Rosso and Michael Rodrigues and are involved in the business of gold mining. They claimed that Ramnarine as E&F Commander demanded millions of dollars in bribes altogether over a specified period of time and though they had reported the matter to the late Police Commissioner Henry Greene, “no action was taken to date.” |
