Argentina is ranked No. 2 by FIFA and has a healthy team on the field. They have an awesome front line in Messi, DiMaria, Higuain and Aguero and it will be hard to stop them from scoring. The US team is playing decent football but it will take a great effort to beat Argentina. However, on any given day upsets are always possible. Chile is also a good team and I think they will take it.

i am sorry...the US Is not remotely in the same class as Argentina. This is going to be shooting fish in a barrel. I do not see anyone containing the Argentine forwards. Messi will score every time he touches the ball within shooting zone. If the US wins this will be the greatest upset ever. The Argentine team may be more tired given they had to travel from New England to Texas today. But even so they will give the US hell. Get your sandwiches, Chips, dips and drinks and all your fluffy pillows and squat on the floor and enjoy a great game at 7 pm Eastern time on channel FS1 ( Ch 583 on FIOS in MD)

Indeed it will be an upset if US win...US will miss Jones and Wood...but I hope Nagby replaces Wood and maybe Zusi replace Jones

Containing MEssi will be a challenge, but Brooks has been real good, and maybe the US big defense men can rough him up a bit

I was rooting for the Cavaliers as the dubs were getting too smug. also with 4 Finals losses it was time for a humbled LeBron to win one for this City that hasn't won anything in ages. I liked the parts they had in Tristan, Kylie and Love.

The WI seem to be a more solid team these days. Reasons why?

Agentina is a class above the rest of the Copa competition but with defense you always have a chance and that's what the US is good at - closing spaces and hounding possession. The one that has more talent is the Euro Cup.

Most definitely. Euro is overrated to me. Plus Euro football is defensive compared to the South American game. Every game is either 0-0 or 1-0.

I was doing some work in the garage and rushing to finish before the game started. Came in with 5 minutes gone and the US are already down a goal.

The US need to hold on to the ball.The are getting stuck into  playing defense and when they do get the ball they forget their passing game. They did not even have one attempt at the goal.

They should have played rough. Racking up yellows would be meaningless. They just did not show desire. They were completely overwhelmed.
