If Preet had not honored Chuck Schumer he would still have a job.  Now Trump has to find someone else to prosecute de Blasio for those campaign finance scams.

I would refrain from making the argument on Preet a religious one. Don't paint all Hindus by those who sillily supported Trump. There are silly Muslims who supported Trump also. So did people of other religious groups. Preet was specifically asked to stay on so him being asked to leave is not the same as the other 45. I think the Trump peoples' position changed now that more shit is hitting the fan. Back in November Trump wasn't yet President and he had no idea that the assembly the day after his inauguration was going to surpass his inauguration assembly. Heck, even those who planned the women's March must have been surprised by the global response to it. Now that Trump and his cohorts are looking at prolonged legal scrutiny, it is in their best interest to remove strong federal prosecutors like Preet. But no matter what, Trump is still going to get wrapped in the legal avalanche. So will Pence.
