Ramjattan promised that (if) his party or wins a plurality. The PPPC and APNU would be invited to be part of the government.

Ramjattan's conditional statement that starts with an "IF" is not going to be realised. Therefore the next sentence will not be a reality. Only dreaming.

Statement from Nigel Hughes:

A young man questioned whether it was true that the AFC is about to join with A Partnership for National Unity (APNU). He opined, β€œif so be the case it will secure a landslide victory for the PPP.

It's good for all parties to think and feel positive about their party's winning edge, but the reality is a whole different game. If you listen to all sides, it still show that the opposition is not sure about joining forces with the AFC, and joining with AFC will give the PPP a landslide victory as Hughes stated. When we hear about fear, we have to wonder who is actually afraid in the run up to election.
