Many of these Africans and Chinese work under the table without overtime for people from their tribe in North America. That is not an option for Caribbean people who will take you to the ends of the Earth to get their money.

I wonder how some of these businesses can bid so low to obtain these contracts?

Anytime I review a RFP and notice the dollar amount being too low I will call and ask how they arrive at that price. In some instances they adjust and I have won a few.

When they do not budge I will not bid. On January 1st the new wage rate in NYC would have gone up by 48% from 2015.

What do you have to say that Federal Minimum  Wage  is $7.25 per hour and some 7 states are paying just that?

Minimum wage was meant for students who want to make some extra cash. It was not meant as income to raise families.

This is especially true for fast food places. The problem is you people trying to raise families on very low income. Small businesses can't afford these high minimum wages.

You need to understand the basics, Rent in Alabama is 10 cents!!!!!
