The group, the American Freedom Defense Initiative, had wanted to place text-only advertisements that said, β€œIn any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man.” Then, between two Stars of David, the advertisement said:....... β€œSupport Israel. Defeat Jihad.”

The funniest part of this ad is suggesting that Israel is civilized. A people who actually believes that God gave them some special gift that they must preserve at any cost. A gift that time and time again has been taken away from them. Yet they continue to believe that God gave them that gift. 

The official story is that God gave Palestine to the Israelis and that the Palestinians carried out a holocaust to steal it. So now the Israelis are taking revenge.
