This is exactly why the PPP needs to stop digging its head in the sand and understand that high level of ethnic paranoia bode ill for Guyana.  Especially when layered over high levels of inter class tensions. Grass roots blacks don't necessarily like the fine middle class black and mixed folks who lead the AFC and APNU, so aren't going to listen to them if a rabble rouser attracts them.

The fact that Benschop has significant support amongst certain blacks is indicative of why a proper dialogue on our ethnic paranoia is important.  Blacks who feel disenfranchised feel that APNU isn't properly representing them, consider the AFC to be the "potagee and red people party" and feel that there is no established group tro represent them, now that Eric Phillips has gone silent.

So those who dig their head in the sand and think that they can offer the excuse that the PNC was bad to Indians, and so they dont trust blacks, and fail to see the other side of the story, will only empower people like Benschop.

With declining gold prices and Antigua, and Barbados no longer offering jon opportunities there may be risimng levels of frustration among young grass roots blacks.  Benschop knows this and will exploit it for his own goals.

So rev, yuji and skeldon keep thinking that you can ignore black people.  Benschop has friends all over the USA so dont think that you can phantomise him the same way that you all did to Waddell.
