Same ole lagoo bagoo.
Looks the same here. Rubio seem most fit from an age and appearance point of view but he is gone. His concession speech was impressive. But those who closely supported him in South Florida said that his biggest problem was that he was always chasing his next job instead of doing the one he currently had. That explains why Floridians rejected him so much.
it showed that the ethnic struggles between race oriented parties at the national level has converged to suffocate direct democracy at the local levels as well.
No wonder the PPP never made a great effort about LGE. I think the PPP has a great read on the Guyanese people.

Lethem is no longer a PPP strong hold. That's quite a dynamic shift.

Just the PPP prancing around, not even noticing that they are losing ground in the interior.

It also showed that Guyanese are tired of the same old tired frauds.
The PPP is however prancing around. It reminds me of the boastful monkey prancing around, with the jaguar licking his lips.
The mere fact that the PPP didn't totally dominate the local communities in Region 1, and now Lethem is now coalition controlled, shows cracks in their Amerindian armor. The mere fact that the PPP hasn't cracked more into G/town (I suspect that they won FEWER councilors than last time), or Bartica, shows that the African/mixed vote still remain beyond their grasp.
So why is the PPP prancing around?
IN CONTEXT . . . most of the uneducated PPP crunching 'numbers' and flinging up their panties here aren't even aware that the coalition didn't even bother to contest a shyteload of constituencies in PPP strongholds

I was told that APNU is deliriously happy that the PPP selected the racist Jagdeo again.
Reading all of this PPP ignorance, I can see why.
Losing ground in the interior, and soundly thrashed in PNC strongholds, all the PPP has left is Regions 2,3, 5 and 6.
Now I can hear some ignorant PPPite (VishMahabir probably) screaming that the PPP "won" Region 4. Didn't even stop to think that G/town is only 30 seats of the 285, despite accounting for 50% of the voters. The PPP only won TWO seats in G/town, so they have MASSIVELY lost ground in G/town.
The true headlines should be, GEORGETOWN INDIANS ABANDON THE PPP!
