APNU/AFC opposition bent on deraling progress

More and more it is becoming ever clear that the opposition, with help from their media extensions, are bent on stymieing Guyana's development. They have consistently attacked the Private Sector, which is a main pillar of our economy and which the PNC obliterated whilst in power. They have not found favour with a single developmental project embarked upon by successive PPP/C governments since 1992. And with the leverage given to them in 2011 via a one-seat parliamentary majority they have:

  1. illegally cut budgetary allocations;
  2. passed motions and bills that are counter-productive to the continuance of Guyana's development;
  3. done the bidding of their business financiers
  4. put Guyana on the brink of being blacklisted by western countries and international financial institutions

Despite doing all this they have done absolutely nothing to benefit the people who voted for them. This excludes though, the people from Linden whose electricity subsidy in the 2013 Budget they voted for even as they voted against funds earmarked to cushion the rest of Guyana from an electricity increase.

It's time for us to take our attention away from what the oppositions are doing to derail the nation's progress and focus on what the government of the day is doing to fix that problem. The government has a website that says, let's build Guyana together. I am sure reform and recommendation on cooperation is a good start.
