Yes. The Coalition has people who are educators and would do a better job than Plumpy, the squarest peg in the PPP govt.
The current system is backward and about 3 decades behind.
Plumpy boasts about the number of trained teachers. The problem is most of the teachers and principals in Guyana would not be able to work in the USA because you must have at least a bachelor's degree to be a teacher and a Masters degree to be a Principal.
Since teacher quality is most highly correlated to student achievement, we can't have teachers with only a 2-year training.
Guyana education system is a mess even after the PPP has wasted some 260 billion in the last 10 years. Priya Manicchand is a colossal waste.
