The Ruling People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) and A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) have agreed to a gradual increase to electricity tariff in Linden and selective application following second rounds of talks between President Donald Ramotar and a delegation and Opposition Leader David Granger’-led team on Thursday at the Office of the President.
Opposition agreed to integration of Linden supply into national grid.
Also special financing facility to be explored for Lindeners was part of the talks.
And additional TV stations for Lindeners was another agreement that came out during the discussions.
The talks forms part of a process of dealing with opposition concerns regarding the National Budget
