Ariel Castro Is Found Dead in Prison

Ohio corrections officials said Ariel Castro, who held three women captive in his home for nearly a decade, has been found dead.

A spokeswoman said Mr. Castro, 53 years old, was found hanging in his cell around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday. Prison medical staff tried to resuscitate him before Mr. Castro was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
