Australian Cricketers' Association stands its ground in Cricket Australia pay dispute

Posted

The Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA) says it is "extremely likely" there will be no resolution to the cricket pay dispute before the end of this week.

If an agreement is not reached by Saturday, 230 players will be out of contract, putting a cloud over tours next month.

ACA president Greg Dyer said Cricket Australia's (CA) latest offer was not sufficient and called on CA chief executive James Sutherland to re-enter talks.

More to come.
