In today's competitive world no industry can prosper without being very, very efficient.

I visited that farm just before the pandemic and it's amazing how the banana grows on one side. The conveyor lines move the bunches with minimal damages to the fruits.  In Costa Rica, they use carts to transport them. Their Pine Apple farms reminded me about Pomeroon.

Guyana needs to move to commercial farming: farming for a profit, where food is produced by advanced technological means for sale in the market.

A lot of the Guysuco land should be made available for both livestock and Mixed Crop farming.
