Banks DIH Sports Club Circle Tennis (BCTT) made a clean sweep recently at the Breast Cancer Awareness Month Pink Ball circle tennis competition played at the NSC Ground Woolford Avenue. On a day which saw the sport returning to that venue after ten years Banks CTT all female won the toss and invited Victory Chasers Circle Tennis Club (VCCTC) to the middle, they made 171 â 10 with Shevon Headly scoring 40 and Shevaun Henry 38. BCTT replied with 172-10; Roomma Charles got 52, Rhonda Richards 26 and Aneka Wills 15. Mixed team â BCTT won the toss and batted first scoring 182 â 5 off their 50 deliveries, Orane Paul made 40, Eon Cossiah 28 and Simone Williams 19. VCCTC were restricted to 147 â 7 in reply. Michael Trotman got 39. The following players received a medal for their outstanding performance. Simone Williams won the Best Bowler prize BCTT, Orane Paul Player of the Finals (Mixed Team) BCTT, Theklia Douglas catch of the day VCCTC, R. Charles Player of the Finals (All female) BCTT, Aneka Wills Most improve player BCTT, Shevon Headly Most improve player VCCTC and Banks CTT also won the Best Uniformed Team. The programme was organized by Sport Officer A. Munroe and sponsored by NSC.
