Video: Barack Obama gets a rise from Republican supporter

By Jim Kuhnhenn The Associated Press

FORT PIERCE, Fla. – If President Barack Obama was looking for a lift in Florida, he got one from an enthusiastic Republican.

Scott Van Duzer, a 46-year-old, six-foot-three 75 inch (1.9-meter) guy gave Obama a bear hug, raising him off the ground as Obama marveled at the man’s strength.

Van Duzer owns the Big Apple Pizza and Pasta Italian Restaurant where Obama stopped on Sunday during a Florida bus swing. He also runs a foundation that helps collect blood for the ill; he has received White House commendations for his work.

As he entered, Obama admired Van Duzer’s physique: “The guy’s just got a big heart, along with big pecs.”

Of his embrace, Van Duzer said: “I was overwhelmed when I saw him.”

He said Obama had his vote.

Yes indeed .. it is gradually getting there.

Where is the rev? Has he gone into his closet hiding suffering from severe depression? He got the numbers now and we all know he is the expert on numbers. I think he watched the Sunday shows and saw Paul Ryan dodging the questions(like all republicans do).

How can you say this?  It is mathematically impossible to reduce revenues by $4Trillion and increase defense expenditures, and yet still end up with a budget surplus.

The problem is that Ryan and company havent figured out how to do that yet.

so leave them alone.  When they figure out how to do so AFTER the elections after Rev AL and others vote for them then they will tell you.  After Rev finds out that he cant deduct interest on his mortgage, that he must pay income tax on his employer provided health insurance, can no longer deduct his 401 (k), and the other loop holes that they plug.

Ryan will tell him that only rich people own homes, get health insurance and have 401(k) plans so he ought not be upset when his income tax bill doubles.
