Bel Air Lions and GDA to hold fund raising Dominoes

The Lions Club of Bel Air in collaboration with the Georgetown Dominoes Association (GDA) will be holding a Two-Day Fund Raising Dominoes competition on November 4th and 5th starting at 1:30 PM.
The Competition, which is named the “Lions/Clear Water Domino Competition”, will be launched tomorrow on the Lawns of the Lions Club of Bel Air at Enachu Street, Section ‘N’ Campbellville from 2:00 PM Sharp.
The competition will consist of Mixed Teams representing the Lions, coming up against Teams from the Georgetown Dominoes Association (GDA) having a corporate background.
Thirty-Two (32) Teams are expected to participate in this battle. Invitations have been already issued to Teams who will be battling for a 1st Prize of $250,000 with Trophy and medals, 2nd Prize $140,000 with Trophy and Medals and 3rd Prize of $60,000 with Trophy and Medals. The MVP claims $10,000 along with trophy and Medal.
Teams expected to participate are: Providence Sports Club, Brimstone, Mix – Up, All Season, Ray’s One Stop Auto parts, NCN – Employees Welfare, Sheriff St. Swagga Boys, Beacon, Bel – Air A, Bel – Air B, T & T, Pacesetters, Impressors, C7, C6, F & H Supreme, Masters, Rage, Gold X Money, Strikers, Transport, Thunder, Assassins, Trappers, Killas, Specialist, Delta Force, RSS Enterprise, Phanton, Spartans, 300 and Medicare.
With Six (6) more teams expected to also participate, this Dominoes Tournament is being sponsored as a JOINT EFFORT in the promotion of this Guyana Sport and the proceeds will be used entirely for servicing the Indigents.
