Bernie is a Commie Clown. He has pie in the sky dreams and no realistic plans for America. Where in America is he going to find the Congress to approve his ideas? The man wants to shut down fossil fuels, nuclear plants and natural gas, not phase them out but shut them down. How in heaven's name will we replace the energy created by these fuels? Is it back to coal or will every house have a massive wind turbine and solar panels on the roof? What will power our factories? Claims to be the anti establishment candidate but bows to the whims of the NRA. Did he see the fight Obama had just to get health care for a small group of Americans. How does he plan to scrap the system and get complete universal healthcare? He's a confused ole fool.

Mars , give Jack his jacket. Bernie is the only US politician I know who has called out Israel and the media to keep it balanced on the Gaza situation. All the other stuff we've seen here already...pie in the sky, etc. Hillary got him on the gun question yesterday and she stuck him with the you can diagnose but I can act......l

Bernie is just like any other politician.  He screams about Wall Street, but caves to the NRA because to do otherwise would result in him losing votes in VT.

Wall Street is the most important industry in NYC and NYS, so obviously any politician representing this state cannot afford to damage it.  It directly, or indirectly benefits tens of thousands of people, including Chief who doesn't seem to understand this.

Just like how he plans to send us back to coal, he wants to destroy the US financial sector.  He really does think that banking is the little community bank taking the old ladies' savings and lending it to the neighborhood laundry.

Better Hillary do it than Trump.  All those fake pollsters fooling us that Bernie would beat Trump need to get a grip.

I can see it at a Trump vs. Bernie debate. Bernie screams shut down oil, gas. and coal. Trump asks him how is he going to heat his home in those cold VT winter nights.  Bernie screams alternate energy. Trump asks him about cost, delivery, and supply reliability.  Bernie blinks!

I hope finally the Bernie Bros realize how weak Bernie really is!  But then they don't care as they live off their trust fund earnings that grandpa left for them.

I will be @ PS 100 to cast my vote for Trump on 4/19. The least I can do for a fellow New Yorker. He is doing well in the poll. I also believe he will take NJ since Christie endorsed him. I will ask Vish M to do a pooja for Trump at his Mandir.

A multitude of poojas will not help Trump against Hillary Clinton.

Hillary will thump Trump soundly at the polls and he will disappear from the scene after the November elections.

Mars,

What is wrong with having ideas that can actually work?

Carib J shut your poke!

As a business man Bernie should truly bother you.

Currently as you have heard from all of the candidates on both sides of the aisle, the middle class is wiped out. Who do you think made up the bulk of the middle class , business owners.

Twenty years ago I was a delegate to the WHITE House Conference on Small Business, at that time we made recommendations to President Clinton that if steps are not taken "big fish will eat out small fish:.

Today reality has stepped in , all small business owners are cathing our ass because of the big conglomerates, from Chase, Citi,  Home Depot to Amazon and Uber and all in between. MANUFACTURING IS GONE AND THAT IS NOT COMING BACK.

I own two companies, a courier service and staffing agency and I interact on a daily basis with all type of businesses and I can tell you , it's not looking good with the current system that is in place,

Bernie may not have all of the answers but he has some.

The popular definition of "middle class" is to be blue collar, or even low income, provided that one is white.  Waitresses in cafeterias think that being white entitles them to being middle class.  High school drop outs think ditto.

Business owners create their own employment, and might even create jobs for others, so are clearly absent from the Bernie debate.  He however wants to introduce additional taxes, and regulations, which ought to concern you as a business owner.

As to specific measures that Bernie will introduce to protect small business.  Please outline because taxation, and regulation tend to hurt small businesses more than they do large corporations.

You probably pay higher taxes than many Fortune 500s, and cannot acquire a foreign company, and shift your HQ to avoid what Bernie plans. Nor can you sell yourself to foreign investors, who will do the same.

Yes Bernie will claim that he will tax and punish those companies.  What Bernie doesn't understand is that the USA is a WTO beneficiary, so will face retaliatory sanctions.  In order to avoid those sanctions Fortune 500s will locate even more of their operations overseas.

Fortune 500s are more likely to offer high paying jobs than mom & pops.  Fortune 500s also offer a market for professional service companies (IT, media, accounting, etc).

When Bernie tells me how he will create high paying jobs, he becomes credible.

But for now all I hear is endless rants about "Wall Street".  Bet you if "Wall Street" departs to London, you will suffer.

Bernie means job losses.  Even left wing economists like Paul Krugman say so!

Pat Bucannan did!!  Trump make a veiled reference to the issue in favor of a Palestinian homeland!!  But he was drowned out when he called out the terrorist threat from Islamist extremists!!

New York City (CNN)Bernie Sanders' campaign on Tuesday called reports of voting irregularities in New York state "a disgrace" as local officials rushed to condemn the city Board of Elections for stripping more than 125,000 Democratic voters from the rolls.

"It is absurd that in Brooklyn, New York -- where I was born, actually -- tens of thousands of people as I understand it, have been purged from the voting rolls," Sanders said during an evening campaign rally at Penn State University.
In an email to CNN, Sanders spokesman Karthik Ganapathy called the state's handling of the primary a "shameful demonstration."
"From long lines and dramatic understaffing to longtime voters being forced to cast affidavit ballots and thousands of registered New Yorkers being dropped from the rolls, what's happening today is a disgrace," he said.
Election Justice USA, a voter rights organization, told CNN it will go to Federal District Court in Brooklyn on Wednesday morning as part of an effort to have provisional ballots from voters disenfranchised by the Board of Elections counted before the primary results are certified.
Earlier in the day, a federal judge denied a temporary restraining order filed by the group that would have opened the polls to New York Democrats claiming they were unlawfully listed as Republican or unaffiliated.
A little before the polls here closed at 9 p.m., the polling site coordinator at Brooklyn Borough Hall estimated that about 10% of those who showed up to vote on Tuesday were previously removed by the board of elections. More than 2,800 people had voted at the location.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, a Hillary Clinton supporter, called for major reforms to the Board of Elections as a series of snafus continued to bubble up, including reports of the errant "purge" in Brooklyn.
"It has been reported to us from voters and voting rights monitors that the voting lists in Brooklyn contain numerous errors, including the purging of entire buildings and blocks of voters from the voting lists," de Blasio said in a statement Tuesday calling on the board to "reverse that purge."
"The perception that numerous voters may have been disenfranchised undermines the integrity of the entire electoral process and must be fixed," he said.
Speaking to CNN on Tuesday night, Board of Elections Executive Director Michael Ryan pushed back against the growing criticism, saying, "We're not finding that there were issues throughout the city that are any different than what we experience in other elections."
Of the 126,000 Democratic voters taken off from the rolls in Brooklyn, Ryan said 12,000 had moved out of borough, while 44,000 more had been placed in an inactive file after mailings to their homes bounced back. An additional 70,000 were already inactive and, having failed to vote in two successive federal elections or respond to cancel notices, were removed.
"Since the eyes and ears of the world are on New York, issues that are relatively routine for any election are receiving greater scrutiny," he added.
In pledging to audit the board, the office of New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer issued a much stricter verdict.
"The people of New York City have lost confidence that the Board of Elections can effectively administer elections and we intend to find out why the BOE is so consistently disorganized, chaotic and inefficient," he said.
The Clinton campaign had no immediate comment when asked by CNN.
New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman's voter complaint hotline had "received more than 700 complaints from voters across (New York state)" before 4 p.m., Schneiderman spokesman Nick Benson tweeted. The same office, he added, had heard only around 150 on the day of the 2012 general election.

Excuses, excuses. Licks like peas. Hillary won Brooklyn by a wide margin and would have won even bigger if those Brooklynites were allowed to vote.

It's all downhill from here for Bernie as Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, Delaware are coming up soon. What will be his excuse after the trashing he will get?

How exactly?

NY Board of Elections usually screws up in minority neighborhoods.  Bernie was rejected soundly by blacks and to a lesser degree, by Hispanics.  He only received 25% of the votes in most black and Hispanic areas.

This almost never happens in those activist white neighborhoods where Bernie got his votes.

Bernie lost Brooklyn totally.  He should stop whining and carrying on like a grumpy old man.

The minority neighborhoods, where most of this occurred, went to Hillary by 75%.  Hillary should be crying that her margin of victory would have been higher, had they been allowed to vote.
