The Exco already voted him in. Interesting dynamics taking place in PPP. Jagdeo = PPP. Jagdeo is the PPP. No one to challenge him. They are all souptunists or they have bought their degrees. I can't wait to see the former President become leader of opposition.

The Constitution bars Jagdeo from two offices...the Presidency and the Prime Ministership. He can hold any other office including Leader of the Opposition.

Indos are not above the law or society. The problem we have always had is that Indos are always beneath the law and society in Guyana.

Indos just need equality of opportunity and the equal application of the law. That would protect us from the Freedom Fighters and "crime" and PNC terrorism which is a shorthand for the two former things mentioned.

Well at least Indo leaders should have started with Minister Sawh's execution? How come Jagdeo's PPP did not apply the law equally to Maurice Arjune of Dharmic Sabha? A black Ombudsman had to give that family some justice. And why PPP did not apply the law in the case of Balram Singh Rai's pension. I have no problem with some people cutting a deal with Jagdeo...but the man will be around for 20 years looking for the slightest opening to become President again. Make no mistake...it almost happened as some people saw the CJ write up. Perhaps he will be a mature President in a third term. But I don't agree that almost 50% of the people should be subjected to his whims and fancies and personal ambitions.
