Jagdeo is a terrible speaker...he does need someone to train him how to respond to questions.

Why are the three people with Nortan not saying anything....there is an Amerindian woman and an Indian dude sitting next to his, all they do is smile....why arent they contributing to the press conference?

I disagree, Jagdeo speaks slowly and his message is fully received. He speaks like any other person in Guyana except that he does it with a lot more experience given that he was a president.

Question for my brother Django. You have asked from time to time why Jagdeo is always the only person at the table talking to the media. What is your opinion of the case of the four PNC members where three seems to be just window dressing? Aren't both of these cases the same except that Jagdeo isn't throwing any smokescreen.

I don't see anything wrong with his speech.  Yes, anyone can always improve.  Whether you agree or disagree with him, he tells it very clear where he stand on issues.  I find him easier to follow than Jagan.  But Burnham is still one of the best speakers Guyana ever had!

I heard Rodney was the best

Rodney had a real PhD.

Well, he was a street brawler and very firey.  I stood in front him at Guyana Stores, he can rally a crowd!

Maybe I have a different perspective. I think he mumbles is disjointed and has an awful delivery. Were his audience not captured they would walk away.

You may be right. He is no Obama. Maybe it is because I lean PPP that I appreciate his comments. I do think Teixeira was pretty good in her presentation two Fridays ago. She was very sharp on her come-backs.

Diction! sure the man is no Nat King Cole. He is speaking to Guyanese.

For delivery, no-one can out perform George Bush, the younger.

People get excited about Obama, he juss plain talk. No drama to his words in gestures or the play of the eyes or the dramatic pauses for the listener to soak up the rhetoric.

Bush is a master at public speaking.

Gail is very eloquent and knowledgeable.  And she fights to the bitter end. Might not be a bad Presidential candidate.
