He said President Asif Ali Zardari has shut all the backdoors for hijacking the mandate of the people. He said the president is the protector of democracy.
He said the government would bring in a caretaker set up which would be acceptable to every one. He said it was a constitutional requirement to consult the opposition for caretaker set up.
Syed Khursheed Shah said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would lead the PPP election campaign by taking the agenda of his grand father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. He expressed confidence that when the heir of Shuhada Bilawal Bhutto would lead the caravan of masses, it would not be possible for others to defeat the PPP.
