Chief, what's wrong with having the marathon on Sunday despite the aftermath of Sandy? When Mayor Bloomberg makes a decision, he makes it for all of NYC residents. Why are you so against the marathon? You're not the only one that is close to him. Tough it out!

Now let me give my reasons. Last Friday fafter lunch I travelled down town and visited the projects on the lower east side. U saw first hand the suffering of those lower income folks, no food, no power no heat.

That is when I said that the city cannot afford to hold the Marathon. Now the Mayor knoew of this type of condition s before me for hre was travelling the entire city by air and road since the disaster.
