First time hearing of this.
I know of eyebright (for the eyes) and the using grape seed as antioxidants.

as you know with my eyes Cain, I was thinking of trying this. Cataract is in my left eye, but removing it will not really improve the vision I was told. Plus I really dont want to mess with my eyes and any surgery.

Eye surgery is a risky undertaking, there is no guarantee that the result will be successful or even better than what existed before the surgery.
It is better to use drops and other meds to assist the healing process before considering surgery.
Regarding glaucoma, the field of vision and degrade sight can occur with no symptoms, some people can wake up in the morning and lose a large portion of their sight.
The danger of ignoring regular eye pressure test and not receiving trestment in time could cause damage to the eye, where laser and physical surgery will be required. If the damage is severe, the 'dead' eye could become infected, which will cause it to be removed.
