Karan Johar gets angry when the world's cinematic review of Bollywood films to be just a "song and dance" theatrical. He started to point out movies like "Padman" that sends a message to women about the taboo of mensural cycle and raised the awareness of sanitary pad. Do you think Indian women really need "Padman" to educate them about the use of sanitary Pad?
The Jamaican word "Blood Claat" comes from cloth used as sanitary pads in the older days. Many millions of woman who can't afford to buy sanitary pads still used garments to do so.
Then he mentioned the movie "Toilet". I don't know what the movie is all about, but the name says it all.
I personally think that all Bollywood films should be rated as musical, except a few. All Bollywood films contain songs and dances and the world speak as they see it.
